Overview
This policy explains what happens to your data when you visit arcariusnest.com. The site is a catalogue for the Arcarius Nest Etsy shop. It has no user accounts, no forms, no newsletter and no checkout. When you buy a printable, you do that on Etsy, and Etsy's own privacy policy applies to that purchase.
The data controller for this website is Arcarius Holding OÜ, a company registered in Estonia (contact details at the end of this page). Because we are based in the European Union, we follow the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) for every visitor, wherever you are.
Information We Collect
When you simply visit
Like every website, the server that delivers our pages receives technical data from your browser: your IP address, the page requested, the date and time, your browser type and the referring page. This site is hosted by Cloudflare, which processes this data to deliver the pages and to protect the site from attacks.
We also use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views and measure how fast pages load. According to Cloudflare, it does not use cookies or local storage and does not fingerprint visitors. It runs without asking for consent because it does not identify you.
Only if you accept analytics
If you click Accept in the cookie banner, we also use Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors use the site, for example which collections are viewed and where people leave. These tools record pages viewed, clicks, scrolling and mouse movement, device and browser details, approximate location derived from your IP address, and a pseudonymous identifier stored in a cookie. Microsoft Clarity can also make recordings of how a visit unfolds on the page and heatmaps. We do not enable advertising features in either tool.
What we do not collect
We do not ask for your name, email address, postal address or payment details on this site, and we do not sell or rent data to anyone. If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you write, and use it only to reply.
Legal basis (GDPR)
- Consent (Article 6(1)(a)) for Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity. You can withdraw it at any time.
- Legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f)) for hosting, security and cookie-free page statistics: running a working, safe and reasonably fast website.
- Emails you send us: our legitimate interest in answering you.
Cookies
Before you choose, this site sets no analytics cookies. If you click Decline or ignore the banner, none are set. Your choice itself is saved in your browser's local storage under arcarius_nest_cookie_consent (not a cookie, never sent to us), so the banner does not appear on every page.

Lifetimes for Google cookies are Google's defaults. Microsoft lists the Clarity cookies in its Clarity cookie documentation.
Changing your mind: use (also in the footer of every page) to see the banner again. If you then decline, we delete the analytics cookies this site can reach and reload the page without the analytics scripts. Cookies stored on Microsoft's own domains can only be removed in your browser settings.
Third-Party Services
- Cloudflare, Inc. (USA): hosting, security and Cloudflare Web Analytics. Receives every request to the site, including your IP address. Cloudflare privacy policy.
- Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Ltd / Google LLC), only after you accept: receives the usage data described above. Google privacy policy.
- Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft Corporation, USA / Microsoft Ireland Operations Ltd), only after you accept: receives the usage data, recordings and heatmap data described above. Microsoft privacy statement.
- Etsy: all purchases happen on Etsy. Following a link to Etsy takes you to Etsy's site, where Etsy's privacy policy applies. Our links to Etsy carry no tracking parameters added by us.
- Pinterest: we link to our Pinterest profile. There is no Pinterest script or button on this site; Pinterest only receives data if you follow the link. Pinterest privacy policy.
Our typefaces (Fraunces and Nunito) are stored on this site itself, so loading them sends nothing to Google or any other font service.
Some of these providers process data in the United States. Where that happens, they state that they rely on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and/or the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses to protect it.
Data Retention
- Google Analytics: event-level data is kept for at most 14 months (the longest setting in a standard Google Analytics property); aggregated reports may be kept longer.
- Microsoft Clarity: kept according to Microsoft's retention rules for Clarity, described in Microsoft's documentation.
- Cloudflare: request and security logs are kept by Cloudflare under its own policy; Cloudflare Web Analytics shows us only aggregated figures.
- Emails to us: kept as long as needed to answer you and deal with any follow-up, then deleted.
- Your banner choice stays in your browser until you clear its storage or change it with Cookie preferences.
Your Rights
Under the GDPR you can ask us for access to the personal data we hold about you, and for it to be corrected, deleted, restricted or handed over in a portable format. You can object to processing based on legitimate interests, and you can withdraw consent at any time through Cookie preferences without affecting what happened before. Note that we cannot identify you from analytics data on our own, so we may not be able to find records that relate to you.
To use these rights, email us at the address below. You can also complain to a data protection authority, for example the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate (Andmekaitse Inspektsioon) or the authority where you live. Visitors in Australia can find information about their privacy rights from the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
Data Security
The site is available over an encrypted HTTPS connection. It stores no accounts, passwords or payment details, so there is very little personal data here to protect. Analytics data is held by Google and Microsoft in their own systems, and access to our analytics accounts is limited to the people who run Arcarius Nest.
Children's Privacy
Our nursery and kids' room prints are bought by adults. This site is not aimed at children and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, email us and we will delete it.
Changes to This Policy
If we add a new tool or change how data is used, we will update this page and the "Last updated" date at the top. If a change needs your consent, the cookie banner will ask you again.
